Last week, Connico President Sri Kumar spoke at the C-Suite Insights (CSI) executive leadership program in Nashville, hosted by the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee. He shared insights on his leadership journey with local professionals in the program (which he participated in previously!) and even gave them 10 tips for becoming a CEO themselves. Check out his tips below, and follow him on LinkedIn for more inspiration!
Last week, I had the pleasure of sharing my leadership journey and advice for others at the C-Suite Insights (CSI) executive leadership program in Nashville, hosted by the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee! As a former participant in this room, it was truly a privilege to share my learnings with a room full of other amazing professionals. Over the course of my career (and life), I’ve collected knowledge from those around me (including at Connico). While I won’t get into the full presentation, I did want to share what I’ve learned so far in my journey with all of you here as well – here are the top 10 things YOU can do today if you want to become a CEO tomorrow: 1. Go to the mental gym 2. Never wrong another human being 3. Remember you are not an inventor 4. Build trust like crazy 5. Follow your heart 6. Know that every action has a reaction 7. Understand your time is your oxygen 8. Keep in mind that you are a performance artist 9. Make coaching your way of life 10. Seek first to understand

Our Strategic Leadership Team hit it out of the park with a productive quarterly meeting recently in Cincinnati. We followed it up with a fun team-building event in Kentucky, cheering on the Florence Y'alls. It was a great time filled with memorable moments and impactful discussions about our goals and opportunities for the rest of the year!
