Stable homes. Strong futures. Vibrant communities.
About us
Since our beginning in 1971, CommonBond has flourished into one of the Upper Midwest’s premier providers of affordable housing with services. By integrating services and housing, we were the first to offer more than just a quality place to live. Our model has always been about supporting people in achieving their goals. Today we provide homes and services for more than 12,000 people every year. We develop, own, or manage more than 6,000 affordable rental apartments and townhomes throughout 58 cities in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa. Our beliefs in dignity, respect, and inclusiveness for all people are the driving forces behind our commitment to CommonBond residents. From high-quality buildings to life-changing support services, we create environments and experiences that help each resident meet their goals and be their best self. We build stable homes, strong futures, and vibrant communities. We are CommonBond.

Earlier this week, leadership from Choice Bank joined CommonBond at Wilder Square in Saint Paul to distribute much-needed household items to all 136 residents. These essential items are a huge help and are greatly appreciated! We thank Choice Bank for their commitment to our community and bettering the places we live. This distribution event comes after Choice contributed $1.5 million to support Wilder Square through the new Minnesota State Housing Tax Credit Program and Contribution Fund. Partnerships like this one allow incredible things to happen in our community. Thank you, Choice Bank! #PeopleFirst

Last week, CommonBond's Torre de San Miguel held a community event, bringing residents, family, and friends together for fun and food. Residents enjoyed a bounce house, face painting, a large Jenga and Connect 4 set, and a rock climbing wall courtesy of the National Guard. They were also visited by the the Saint Paul Police Department and the Saint Paul Fire Department. Thank you NeighborWorks America for supporting this exciting event, and the residents who call a CommonBond community home.
