Choice Bank recently made a $1.5 million contribution to CommonBond Communities, through the Minnesota State Housing Tax Credit Program and Contribution Fund. Choice Bank’s donation will support CommonBond’s Wilder Square housing community in Saint Paul. Earlier this week, leadership from Choice Bank joined CommonBond at Wilder Square in Saint Paul to distribute much-needed household items to all 136 residents. These essential items are a huge help and are greatly appreciated! We thank Choice Bank for their commitment to our community and bettering the places we live. This distribution event comes after Choice contributed $1.5 million to support Wilder Square through the new Minnesota State Housing Tax Credit Program and Contribution Fund. Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery and celebrates African American freedom. At CommonBond, we center equity at the core of our mission and fight against barriers that still exist today. Last week, CommonBond's Torre de San Miguel held a community event, bringing residents, family, and friends together for fun and food. Residents enjoyed a bounce house, face painting, a large Jenga and Connect 4 set, and a rock climbing wall courtesy of the National Guard. They were also visited by the the Saint Paul Police Department and the Saint Paul Fire Department. Thank you NeighborWorks America for supporting this exciting event, and the residents who call a CommonBond community home.

Shout out to Dark Clouds and Silver Lining volunteers for hosting a giveaway event at CommonBond's Lexington Commons! Residents received much-needed household supplies, and they were so grateful. Thank you to our partners for their generosity and support of CommonBond residents.
