The FXE cooled tube (CT) upgrade is making the finest details visible - with a resolution down to 0.9 µm and even higher stability than before. ⚖️ Integrated circuits (or chips/#microchips) play an important part in virtually all devices we use on a daily basis such as cell phones, laptops and wearables. They are the fundamental building blocks that enable electronic devices to operate and our connected lives to function. On a printed circuit board assembly (#PCBA) there are hundreds and thousands of components besides these logic and memory chips. To inspect the solder bonds that hold it all together, a high resolution is needed to see whether the connections are secure and will outlast the useful lifetime of the electronic device.
