The Colonie Center management team had the honor of volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House of Albany on Wednesday, June 26th. Our team engaged in various tasks such as cleaning, organizing food, maintenance of the property, and weeding garden beds. This meaningful experience allowed us to contribute to a wonderful local nonprofit that supports numerous families in the community. Colonie Center, your beloved pet-friendly shopping destination, recently joined forces with Pacific Retails corporate team for a day of volunteering at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society. At Colonie Center, we take pride in not only providing a diverse and exciting shopping experience in the Capital Region but also in our commitment to giving back to the community that has supported us throughout the years. During our volunteer session, the team worked diligently to sort cans, a fundraising effort crucial to supporting the shelter’s mission. This initiative plays a vital role in generating funds necessary to care for and provide shelter for over 130 animals currently residing at the shelter. We left Mohawk Hudson Humane Society with full hearts, knowing that our collective efforts would play a significant role in improving the lives of these deserving animals. Colonie Center is proud to be pet-friendly and committed to supporting initiatives like these that enrich our community, both for our shoppers and their furry companions.
