How do farmers make sure they’re not under or overwatering their crops? Working with WWF España we're using technology to give farmers in the South of Spain the information they need to conserve water - ensuring their citrus trees receive just the right amount. 📺 Watch the full film here: https://lnkd.in/di5gxBks #ThisIsForward

CCEP has joined forces with major supermarket, Coles Group to support food relief organisation, SecondBite for the second time. From today until the 30th of July 2024, CCEP is donating 10 cents to SecondBite from each purchase of any Mount Franklin product sold at Coles stores nationally. Every dollar donated enables SecondBite to provide up to five meals for people in need. Since starting the joint initiative in 2023, CCEP and Coles have donated the equivalent of one million meals to Australians in need. This year, we are aiming to increase this, with a target to donate the equivalent of 650,000 meals via the Mount Franklin promotion. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/dasDkRwq

Water is our most precious natural resource. We share it with nature and communities, and rely on it to create our world-famous drinks. But with the world grappling with the effects of climate change, we have a responsibility to manage our use of water sustainably. Our Misión Posible project in Spain is one of 36 running across our 31 markets, helping to protect and reinstate watersheds – critical habitats for nature and biodiversity. Find out more about how these projects are helping drive progress: https://lnkd.in/di5gxBks WWF España #ThisIsForward

We’re pleased to mark the completion of our attached caps roll out in GB! We were the first major soft drinks producer to roll out the innovative attached cap design on our plastic bottles, and two years on from launch, Glaceau Smartwater is the final product to make the switch at our manufacturing site in Morpeth. The innovation in these caps lies in the ring around the neck - where a tether has been added to keep the cap firmly on the bottle so that it’s easier to collect and recycle them together♻️ Completing the transition in GB to attached caps across our portfolio of drinks brings us that bit closer on our journey towards a World Without Waste 🌍 #WeAreCCEP #CCEPGB #ActionOnPackaging

We’ve come a long way since we first used our iconic red crates. Today, they’re getting another update – new crates in the Netherlands will now be made from 97% recycled plastic! 🔄 Designed to transport our refillable glass bottles from customer to factory (and back again), our crates last for around 15 years - but when they do eventually break down, they’ll be given a new lease of life. This is a truly Dutch collaboration: alongside recycler Healix and packaging producer Schoeller Allibert, old crates will be combined with 15% recycled tulip nets, a plastic that is normally difficult to recycle.
