Clackamas County Children's Commission is a non-profit organization that serves children and families residing in Clackamas County. Our Services: • Head Start – Our Head Start program seeks to give preschool children a head start in school readiness and cultivates the growth of strong & healthy families. • Early Head Start – Our Early Head Start program strives to promote healthy prenatal outcomes for pregnant women, enhances development of very young children and promotes healthy family functioning. • Healthy Families – Our Healthy Families program supports positive parenting and healthy growth and development for parents and their newborn/young children. At Clackamas County Children’s Commission, we know that parenting is one of the most important jobs a person will ever do. Our approach is to honor a child’s parent(s) as their first/most important teacher. We do not charge any fees for services.
