The City of San Leandro is one of the most diverse cities in the nation located at the center of the dynamic San Francisco Bay Area.     Message from San Leandro Police Department Community: July 4th Marina Park Closure To better manage celebrations for Independence Day on Thursday, July 4th, the San Leandro Marina Park will be closed at 6 pm that day. The following road closures will also be in effect at 6 pm: - El Torito Restaurant parking lot at Mulford Point Drive - Horatio's Restaurant parking lot at Mulford Point Drive - Mulford Point Drive at Monarch Bay Drive - Pescador Point Road at Monarch Bay Drive - Marina boat launch at Pescador Point Road - Marina boat launch at Monarch Bay Drive - Southbound Monarch Bay Drive at Fairway Drive Access to the Monarch Bay Golf Course, restaurants, and the Marina Inn will be available. The closures will remain in place through the night as determined by the on-duty Patrol Watch Commander or Supervisor. As a reminder, the city of San Leandro prohibits all fireworks, including "safe and sane" fireworks legally sold in other jurisdictions. Thank you and have a wonderful 4th of July!
