The number of Indian students who studied abroad in the U.S. reached a six-year high in 2022. Jonathan Koppell, president of Montclair State University, writes about New Jersey's welcoming environment to Indian students due to its diversity, employable degrees, and focus on output. 🗣 "Indians make up the majority of the state’s immigrant population in New Jersey, where Montclair State University is located. In February 2024, Governor Phil Murphy announced the launch of the New Jersey-India Commission to further promote cultural and educational exchanges between the two."
Why do Indian students prefer America as a study destination?

New Jersey's skilled workforce is a major asset to manufacturers. NJMEP is at the forefront of training that workforce in essential jobs that meet industry demand! We were thrilled to visit their facility.
Had the pleasure to participate in a meeting today between NJMEP and representatives from Choose New Jersey, Inc. at our Cedar Knolls office. Not only did we have a great conversation about the manufacturing industry but we also had them tour and try out equipment in NJMEP’s new manufacturing skills training lab.
