As the 50th Democratic National Convention approaches, Chicago is gearing up to host delegates from across the nation for its 12th occurrence in the city. Reflecting on the most recent visit in 1996, photos showcase how Chicago prepared for the arrival of then-candidates Bill Clinton and Al Gore.
