Lilian Ho has camped for a week in Vallon-Pont-d'Arc and embarked on a 2 day kayaking trip down the River Ardèche. Stanley Cheng was a former skateboarder during his studies in the UK and is confident he could moonwalk the entire length of the DuSable Bridge! Kam Korouie has completed an aquathlon and traveled from London to Sydney, then back to New York, attending both Sydney and New York Build on time. Isabelle Leong is a talented poet with published works on an online literary blog. Her team's documentary short also reached the finals in a National Geographic competition. Barry Saysell was the North London rock, paper, scissors regional champion. Chris Kriticos has run a half marathon and is an identical twin. Sunita G. recently trekked Mount Batur (an active volcano!) in Bali to see the sunrise. The Obama Presidential Center in Chicago tops-out. Barack Obama signs the highest beam 👏 The Obama Presidential Center officially topped out last week, with former President Obama signing its highest beam before it was lifted into place. Due to open in 2026, the center is located on a 19 acre campus in Jackson Park. The centre features a museum about the former President designed by Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects, an auditorium, library, the non-profit Obama Center and more.

A stunning 37-story mixed-use tower is set to transform 1565 N Clybourn Avenue, designed by bKL Architecture. ⭐ Located on the intersection of N Halsted Street, the slender tower will replace an existing two-story bank building, enhancing the shopping complex. The developer hopes to break ground on the tower in 2025 with plans to complete this new addition by 2026.

Renderings revealed for Satellite Concourse 1 as part of O’Hare 21❤️ Mayor Brandon Johnson and the Chicago Department of Aviation have unveiled the design for Satellite Concourse 1, a key element of the O’Hare 21 Terminal Area Plan expansion and modernization project. The new concourse stands as one of the largest components of O’Hare 21, aiming to transform O’Hare’s terminal complex into a modern, efficient global hub. Mayor Brandon Johnson states Chicago’s airports are vital to the local economy, supporting over 700,000 jobs in the region and contributing more than $70 billion in economic activity.

The Chicago Plan Commission approves 400 N. Elizabeth, a mixed-use development designed by Archeo Design Studio. ✅ The proposed development will include two residential towers, offering a combined total of 724 apartments. Additionally, there will be 300 parking spots distributed between the two towers, along with 724 spaces for bike parking. The eastern tower will be 349 feet tall and the western tower will stand at 328 feet. The towers will have gridded façades made up of metal paneling and glazing.

Thompson Center's $280M redevelopment to become Google's Chicago headquarters is underway!💥 The developer is pursuing LEED Platinum status and transitioning the iconic 1.2 million square foot building to all electric.
