Thrilled to announce Ritual Zero Proof’s latest partnership with Chicago's Green City Market! GCM Lincoln Park was one of the very first must-do’s I checked off upon moving here two years ago so this full circle moment is pretty exciting 💚 GCM’s mission is one we wholeheartedly stand behind: securing the future of food by deepening support for sustainable farmers, expanding access to locally-grown food, and educating this incredible community. It’s easily one of the best farmer’s markets in the country, while also putting on some of the most engaging and delicious events I’ve ever sponsored and/or attended 🥕 To kick things off, we’ll be offering NA cocktail pairings for their first Sustainable Supper Series at Ella Elli on Tuesday, 4/16! This will be an entirely zero proof beverage service, with each cocktail perfectly curated for each course ✨ While we’d love to see you there, don’t worry if you can’t make this one - this is just the beginning. Who knows, maybe you’ll catch us slinging non-alc French 75’s at the market later this year 🥂 David Dorton David Crooch Marcus Sakey Allie Kim Chelsea Hammersmith 4 Star Restaurant Group https://lnkd.in/g_ewmyce

  • Small food and farm businesses are currently facing one of their toughest seasonal challenges: maintaining a steady revenue stream. That’s where Green City Market comes in. With the help of supporters like you, GCM creates critical sales opportunities through our farmers’ markets by connecting local farmers with customers like you. But a longer season means higher operating costs, and Green City Market needs sustained support in order to open our markets over 4 weeks early and increase the number of markets we host by over 11%. Be part of a community of GCM Growers today with a monthly or one-time donation, and help us open GCM early and build a more local, sustainable, and equitable food system with us at bit.ly/gcmgrowers. #greencitymarket #donate #sustainability #agriculture #farming #chicagostrong

  • It might shock people to learn that it costs more than $350,000 each year to operate our markets. From permit fees to portalet rentals, market expenses aren’t exactly the most exciting things to talk about; but the costs are significant for a market of our scale. To keep the market affordable for small-scale, local farmers, vendor fees cover only half of the costs to operate the market. Remaining expenses are funded through charitable contributions made by community members like you. We just learned we will be able to open our markets a month early — but we need your help to make it happen. Join our community of Green City Market Growers today with a monthly or one-time donation: bit.ly/gcmgrowers. If every person who reads this becomes a GCM Grower by giving $25/month, together, we could fully fund this work for the entire year before the season even starts. That’s less than $1 a day to build a more resilient, sustainable food system alongside our farmers. #greencitymarket #donate #sustainability #agriculture #farming #chicagostrong
