States can now learn more about applying to the Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) Access Model: https://go.cms.gov/3RMlkKc. The model aims to improve the lives of people with Medicaid living with rare and severe diseases by increasing their access to potentially life-changing treatments. It will initially focus on gene therapies for sickle cell disease. The Request for Applications will be open to all states, the District of Columbia, and all U.S. territories participating in the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program. New CMS #MaternalHealth opportunity! CMS just announced the Notice of Funding Opportunity for the Transforming Maternal Health (TMaH) Model. The goal of this model is to enhance care for mothers and infants enrolled in Medicaid and CHIP, focusing on improving health outcomes during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
