Like all children, the children and youth in our care benefit greatly from participating in community events and celebrations. This week several kids had the opportunity to attend a Keene SwampBats game. One resident had the honor of throwing the first ceremonial pitch. Cedarcrest, a specialized medical facility and school in Keene, New Hampshire, provides round-the-clock skilled nursing care, special education at Cedarcrest School, and speech, occupational, and physical therapies onsite for up to 26 children, infants through 22 years. We offer exceptional medical care and education in a warm, nurturing, home-like setting for children and youth with high-risk medical conditions and significant disabilities, including children who require intensive medical support. As the only intermediate care facility in New Hampshire serving children and youth exclusively and the state’s principal provider of post-acute medical care for children under three years of age, our core service is residential care (long and short-term care).
