Launched in 2023, Harvest Under the Stars: A Taste of the Garden was inspired by the Edible Schoolyard Project in New Orleans and sprouted to success as a fundraiser to benefit the Origin Bank Family Garden at the Children's Coalition for Northeast Louisiana. Now, it’s that time of year again, to grow together in awareness and cultivate strong connections to empower our future generation, and we would love your support! The 2nd Annual Harvest Under the Stars: A Taste of the Garden is an autumn garden party, hosted under the harvest moon and starlit sky, and is sure to be an unforgettable evening of farm-to-table delights, live music, silent auction, and of course, community connection. Join us on Saturday, September 14, 2024 as we come together to support our continued mission of creating thriving communities for children and families in Northeast Louisiana! Scream and shout, it’s the last day of school! We hope this summer is filled with new memories and a lot of fun and laughter. Parents and guardians, we highly encourage you to work with your children this summer to foster their curiosity and love for learning. While school may be out, the learning never stops! Whether it's exploring nature, visiting museums, reading together, or trying out fun educational activities, every moment is an opportunity for growth and discovery. Your involvement in their learning journey is invaluable, and together, we can ensure they enter the next school year with enthusiasm and confidence!

National Foster Care Day was implemented to shine a light on the Foster Care System. Every 2 minutes, a new child is placed in foster care which means there is a huge need for support services, essential items, and foster parents. The Children’s Coalition for Northeast Louisiana’s Kinship Program is designed to strengthen the relationship between foster parents and the children they foster.
