Seven years ago, Accenture, Aon and Zurich North America co-founded the Chicago Apprentice Network at our #Chicago office, and yesterday we came full circle with civic and non-profit partners to celebrate. As Beth Marrion reminded us, what began as a challenge to the corporate community to “do better” and to start hiring from educational institutions like the City Colleges of Chicago has grown spectacularly to include more than 110 employers, all committed to creating meaningful career pathways through apprenticeships. Since its launch, the Chicago Apprentice Network has notched a remarkable milestone: the creation of more than 2,000 apprenticeships in the Chicagoland area across more than 18 industries. But this celebration is about more than numbers. It’s about lives changed, careers launched, a more inclusive economic future in communities where apprentices live, and new perspectives at organizations where apprentices work. Here's to the next chapter of growth and impact for the Chicago Apprentice Network and beyond. https://lnkd.in/dEbczkey #InclusiveHiring #ChicagoApprenticeNetwork Brent Parton | Beth Marrion | Pallavi Verma | Michael Chiappetta | Roni Moore | Alex Cristan | John B. ICYMI, we launched a new suite of AI advisory services yesterday. Why? We hear from clients that they know they have to adopt AI, but don't know where or how to begin. Maybe you're in the same position. If so, we created this AI readiness assessment. Answer some quick questions to see where you are on your AI journey and get recommendations on where/how to focus.

🌭🌭🌭TALENT TUESDAY🎆🎆🎆 As we celebrate our nation's 248th birthday, it seems a good time to ponder: what can we do to make this country more equitable, stable and economically competitive? Matthew Derella says that process starts by fundamentally changing the way we hire talent. It's time to strap the resume to an M-80.

An (a)eye-opening stat: "Only about 20% of organizations have data strategies mature enough to take full advantage of most AI tools."

We've seen the positive impact of this trend in our headquarters state of Maryland. - More job opportunities for historically excluded groups. - Larger and higher-quality talent pools for state agencies. - Constituent services developed and delivered by local residents.
