Today, Capital Group and KKR formed an exclusive, strategic partnership to build a platform of public-private solutions. The first two solutions developed will be public-private fixed income strategies and we anticipate these strategies will be available in 2025. This concept is driven by our clients’ needs and will combine our public market investment capability and experience with KKR’s private market expertise. The "best of both worlds" approach will give our clients access to private markets in a strategy that is more liquid than standalone alternatives, with a compelling fee. We evaluated three paths for delivering investment solutions in this space: buy, build or partner. Buying would disrupt culture and building could distract our investment professionals.
