Such an incredibly difficult structure to study even with a high powered microscope. As discussed by other researchers, (ZAMIR PUNJA) amber trichomes are a result of maturity. It is proposed that maturity means oxidation of the metabolites within the gland. But, oxidation doesn’t necessarily mean the gland has been mechanically damaged and exposed to oxygen.
