I don't hate the people in 2 step distribution. I hate the process and outcome. Drexel does the research. Takes a huge risk with an inventory position and product launch. Competition like a leach latches on to the momentum we cause in the product. Distributors by their nature give everyone the same basic price and now it's just a race to the bottom with forced crappy service because no one can build a strong company with basically no profits to reinvest to be better. That is weak sauce. that's what we look to make it ourselves or at least private label. Saves the builders money and the leaches can't leach on for the ride. I ain't complaining, you have to play the hand that was dealt to you. But Drexel Building Supply can change the GAME!
