[Caliagua Announcement 🔊] It is with great pleasure and excitement that we announce the well-deserved promotion of Kari Mares to the position of Project Manager.  Please join us in congratulating her on her outstanding work and leadership. Kari joined the Caliagua team as Project Engineer 18 months ago, after graduating from California State University, Fullerton with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Kari has consistently demonstrated a high level of project execution, resource management and team collaboration.  Her combination of technical skills and outstanding communication abilities have made Kari a highly effective Project Engineer in her former role. We are confident that as Project Manager she will continue to provide our clients, subcontractors and vendors with the same high level of coordination, support, direction and leadership that have made her indispensable on her prior project assignments. With a few last minute leveling adjustments, the team checked off another big milestone yesterday for the Orange Wells PFA project. They set the Oldcastle Infrastructure leak detection vault and lid into it's final home at well site #21. This heavy hunk of concrete is designed to provide safe and readily available access to critical infrastructure for maintenance purposes. Orange Well #22 from Above! 📸 Numerically last on this project's list, but certainly not least - well #22 is coming together great with the remaining return water line trench dug and new pipe being installed yesterday. The team is doing a great job doing the dance around a smaller project site. Due to the PFAS contaminants in the underground water aquifer the City of Orange currently is unable to utilize their local wells 20, 21, and 22. We're here to fix that. The Orange Wells #20, #21, and #22 project is moving right on schedule! 🗓 Well #20 is promptly on it's way - complete with foundation(s) done and PFAs treatment equipment currently being installed. With the first site running smoothing, part of the Caliagua team has moved to Well site #21 which has been prepped and now prepared with rebar from QUALITY REBAR INC.. We're nearly ready for mud and the next phase of the project of installing water treatment equipment for the Orange County Water District.
