Congratulations on 20 Years of Service! Eddie’s impressive career began in the Bank’s branch network before he made the move to Deposit Operations in 2017. Eddie served as the Items Processing Assistant Manager for four years before being promoted to Department Manager in 2021. Eddie’s proactive approach to leadership has been instrumental in managing one of the largest departments in the Operations area. Committed to continuous learning, Eddie has completed several leadership development programs and is currently attending our prestigious Leadership Exploration & Development (LEAD) program, designed to deepen skills and expand competencies among team members in leadership roles. His efforts have led to increased efficiency, new systems, and an improved customer experience. He has also nurtured the next generation of rising stars. Starting as a Teller and then Head Teller, Elizabeth moved into the role of Relationship Banker at one of our busy branches. In 2007, Elizabeth's commitment to accuracy and compliance led her to Deposit Services. As a key team member, she plays a vital role in ensuring the Bank’s compliance with critical customer and security policies. When she is not working, Elizabeth loves traveling, cookouts, celebrating birthdays, classical music and enjoys watching movies with her friends and family. Over Lan’s long and successful career with Burke & Herbert Bank, she has taken on a variety of roles – all demonstrating her dedication to service. From teller to head teller to Universal Processor, Lan has provided essential support to members of her team. Recently she moved to Deposit Services and serves a critical role ensuring adherence to important regulatory processes. When she is not working, you’ll find Lan enjoying family time and cheering on her twins during rowing competitions. We joined Visit Alexandria to bid farewell to executive director Patricia Washington after twelve years of incredible leadership. During her tenure, the City of Alexandria's tax receipts grew from $55 million to $80 million annually! We’re honored to serve as the official bank of Visit Alexandria for the last 10 years.
