It’s been a full and fun week for all of us at the Greenville Symphony Orchestra in the classroom at Riverside Middle School with their impressive orchestra program, an arena with 12,000 people and a certain Italian tenor on his very first visit to South Carolina, to a great weekend in the concert hall with soloist Tessa Lark and conductor Wesley Schulz! I’m grateful for the generosity and partnership of Bon Secours Wellness Arena and my friend Beth Paul, for the hard work and vision of music teachers who foster the love of music and make this region the fertile environment it is for the performing arts, and most of all for my outstanding orchestra and staff who have made all this real for us this week through their dedication.
