    We are delighted to announce that two team leaders from the last edition of #BrazilAtSiliconValley are now joining our board to continue the mission of bridging Brazilian entrepreneurship with Silicon Valley innovations. Isabella Canazza, who led the operations team of the conference, and Bruno Rigonatti, who headed the content team, are now part of the BSV board. The roles change, but the passion for our organization's purpose continues. Furthermore, we are honored to welcome Luciano Snel Correa (former CEO of Icatu Seguros and current board member of the company) and Ellen Kiss (Design Director at Nubank) to the team. We are confident that the new group will continue to deliver at a high level, bringing new and innovative perspectives to our work. Estamos muito felizes de anunciar que dois dos líderes de equipe da última edição da #BrazilAtSiliconValley agora juntam-se ao nosso board para seguir com a missão de fazer uma ponte entre o empreendedorismo brasileiro e as inovações do Vale do Silício.     We're thrilled to announce our final confirmed speaker Robson Capasso! Dr Capasso is the Professor of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, and Advisor to the Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign. He has the experience of mentoring or supervising hundreds of medical, computer science and engineering students, residents, fellows or visiting scholars from more than 30 countries, and dozens of Stanford Biodesign students who developed healthcare companies in the Bay Area, Japan, Brazil and Singapore. He is a co-founder, advisor, and investor in healthcare companies in the USA and Brazil.

    We're delighted to announce our next confirmed speaker Dan Schulman! Dan Schulman has dedicated his career to democratizing financial services and e-commerce, improving the financial health of billions globally. During his nine-year tenure as CEO of PayPal, he oversaw remarkable growth: revenues tripled to $30B, earnings quadrupled, and the customer base expanded from 150 million to 435 million. PayPal's market capitalization soared from $35B to $75B, with its payment volume quintupling to $1.5 trillion. Schulman's leadership has garnered numerous accolades, including the CED Distinguished Leadership Award in 2022 and the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Ripple of Hope Award in 2020. He has been recognized for his commitment to social justice, economic empowerment, and corporate citizenship by various organizations, including the Committee for Economic Development, One Hundred Black Men of New York, and the New York Urban League. Schulman's influence extends beyond PayPal; he has held executive roles at American Express, Sprint Nextel Corporation, and Priceline Group, Inc., and served on the boards of several prominent companies and organizations. He holds a BA from Middlebury College, an MBA from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business, and honorary Doctor of Letters degrees from Rutgers University and Middlebury College. Schulman is also an active participant in the World Economic Forum and various advisory councils, and he serves on the boards of Verizon Communications, Inc., Cisco, Lazard, and the Cleveland Clinic. A practitioner of mixed martial arts, Schulman embodies a diverse range of interests and talents.

    We're happy to announce our next confirmed speaker Michael Ding! Michael Ding is based in San Francisco, joined Warburg Pincus LLC in 2015, and leads the firm’s investment activities across healthcare technology, artificial intelligence, electronic payments, digital commerce enablement, automotive technology and intellectual property licensing. He is a Board Director of DriveCentric, Full Sail IP Partners, Salsify, WebPT, and Experity, as well as Board Observer at Modernizing Medicine. He previously also served as a Board Director at Procare Solutions. Prior to Warburg Pincus, he worked in Private Equity investing at TPG Capital in San Francisco and Public Equity investing at Viking Global Investors in New York. Michael began his career at Morgan Stanley in the Investment Banking Division. He received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he graduated valedictorian, as well as his BS in Mathematical and Computational Science from Stanford University.
