Con 403 atlete e atleti è la #delegazioneolimpicaitaliana più numerosa della storia. Ed è anche la Nazionale più forte di sempre, che non ha più una sola stella a illuminare il movimento ma un vero firmamento in tante discipline diverse. Tra i campioni impegnati a #Parigi ci sono anche quattro rappresentanti di #BraccoAtletica: #LudovicaCavalli (1500m), Valentina Trapletti (20km di marcia e 4x10km mista) e Giancarla Trevisan e #AlessandraBonora (staffetta 4x400m). “Sono molto orgogliosa che queste nostre ragazze siano riuscite a qualificarsi per entrare nella delegazione olimpica di Parigi”, ha affermato #DianaBracco, Presidente onoraria di #BraccoAtletica. “Conosco i loro sforzi e posso solo immaginare l’emozione per essere riuscite a partecipare a un evento così prestigioso. The European Journal of Radiology has decided to publish the study by the CDI Centro Diagnostico Italiano of the #BraccoGroup on the use of #artificialintelligence in clinical practice. The survey, carried out in collaboration with the Università degli studi Suor Orsola Benincasa, the Università degli Studi di Milano and the ASST Fatebenefratelli of Milan, involved 232 radiologists belonging to #SIRM, the Italian Society of Medical and Interventional Radiology. The growing integration of #AI into clinical practice is seen as an opportunity, and the majority of those interviewed believe that it offers valid support, but that the professional's opinion will always be decisive when choosing therapies. “#AI is becoming a key aspect of #diagnostics and helps #radiologists interpret images more accurately and quickly,” comments Papa Sergio, Director of the Innovation, Research and Development Unit of the Italian Diagnostic Center. “The goal is that it can predict diagnoses based on patient characteristics, bringing us closer to personalized medicine. But it will always be integrated with human clinical judgment." "The survey shows a strong need for training, especially among young people who do not feel they have adequate preparation to fully exploit these advanced technologies", says Marco Alì, Head of research management processes at the #CDI and curator of the study. “It is therefore crucial to collaborate with universities to develop curricula that meet the needs of radiology practice and address the medico-legal implications associated with the use of #AI”.

What role can #ArtificialIntelligence and the human #DigitalTwin play in optimizing patient diagnosis and care? This question was answered by Alessandro Maiocchi, Bracco Innovation Hub Director and Scientific Data Integration and Harmonization Manager for the Italian Diagnostic Center, on the occasion of the #MidSummerSchool organized by #MotoreSanità with the patronage of the Lombardy Region: "The Bracco Group’s CDI Centro Diagnostico Italiano has long been working on a #DigitalTwin project that will benefit doctors and patients, in compliance with the protection of health data privacy,” said Maiocchi. “The personalization of care, in fact, is one of the main purposes of modern medicine, and human Digital Twins are a fundamental tool for achieving this aim. The #DigitalTwin and #AI mean a revolution in the medical field, offering a holistic and multidimensional representation of the patient. Thanks to the integration of data and the use of algorithms, the human #DigitalTwin will allow doctors to make decisions based on more complete and synthesized information. A meno di due settimane dall'inizio dei Giochi Olimpici di Parigi, si è svolta la 12° edizione del Trofeo Bracco, appuntamento tutto al femminile organizzato per promuovere i valori dello sport e per far crescere le #giovani promesse dell’#atletica italiana. Organizzato da Bracco Atletica e ospitato quest’anno presso il centro sportivo di Busto Arsizio, il Trofeo ha visto la partecipazione di oltre 250 giovani campionesse che si sono cimentate in 19 discipline, con tre gare dedicate ai diversamente abili. È stata una serata entusiasmante a cui hanno partecipato, tra le altre, atlete che hanno già mietuto numerosi successi come Laura Pellicoro, medaglia d’oro alle Universiadi in Cina negli 800m e nei 1500m, e Giulia Macchi, che vestirà la maglia della nazionale italiana ai prossimi campionati Europei Under 18. A fare gli onori di casa il Presidente di Bracco Atletica, Franco Angelotti, che ha accolto il Sindaco di Busto Arsizio, Emanuele Antonelli, e che ha rivolto uno speciale ringraziamento al CDI Centro Diagnostico Italiano, partner del Trofeo, che ha messo a disposizione di tutte le #atlete i suoi fisioterapisti. “Il valore dello sport sa andare oltre qualsiasi diversità e discriminazione”, ha affermato alla conferenza stampa di lancio della 12° edizione del Trofeo Bracco, Claudia Giordani, Vicepresidente nazionale del CONI.
