Mid-Iowa Council, BSA serves over 10,000 young men & women ages 5-20, instilling lifelong values, service, and achievement thru challenging, FUN, age-based leadership programs designed to instill character, citizenship, and fitness. We serve 27 counties of central & southern Iowa. We operate neighborhood-based, family-run programs through partnerships with civic, faith, & service organizations. The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
