Calling All Runners! The Boston Police Foundation is accepting applications for its 2024 Boston Athletic Association Boston Marathon Team. There are 15 spots available for this year's team and we are looking for dedicated runners looking to fundraise and represent the foundation and support the Boston Police Department, its officers and the city. The Boston Police Foundation was formed in 1993 to provide private financial support for critically needed resources to the Boston Police Department, the oldest police department in the country. Our supporters help fund Officer Health and Wellness initiatives, community policing, special equipment, advanced training, and new technology that is not covered in the department's annual budget.
