On this 80th anniversary of D-Day, we remember a day etched forever in history. D-Day stands as a powerful symbol of both unwavering hope and immense sacrifice. In France, a poignant tradition sees citizens collecting sand from Omaha Beach, using it to fill in the indentions of the graves of fallen American soldiers. Memorial Day is about remembering those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. May we never forget.

Today we honor the men and women who sacrificed their lives and fortunes to secure Cuba's independence from Spain. Although Cuba's independence was not formally recognized until May 20,1902, the fight for independence began almost three decades earlier. From the @San Carlos Institute in Key West to Ybor City to the offices of the Cuban Junta in New York City, the United States served as a stage for many of Cuba's liberators to successfully achieve its independence. We encourage you to visit many of these sites which have been preserved for future generations thanks to the generosity of Cubans and Americans alike. This morning, Biscayne participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for The Residences at Somi Parc in South Miami, with Alberto J. Rabionet representing the firm. We extend our warmest congratulations to our client, Related Urban Development Group, on completing Phase 1 of the project. The Residences at Somi Parc is a redevelopment project aimed at providing affordable housing and additional amenities for the #community. Looking forward to Phase 2!
