Last week, Biofire hosted 23 Office of Naval Research Global (ONR Global) Science Advisor Program team members for a product and capabilities presentation, as well as live-fire demonstrations. It was an honor to present the Biofire's Smart Gun capabilities and discuss military applications for our next-generation firearm technology with key advisors to U.S. Navy and Marine Corps commands worldwide. As a leading defense tech start-up focusing on the future of firearms, we are proud to support ONR's mission to deliver new technology and capability to our warfighters. A great visit and board of directors meeting at Colorado-based Smart Gun innovator Biofire. The trip included a product and capabilities presentation and demo to 26 command science advisors from the U.S. Navy’s Office of Naval Research, some of whom had never fired a handgun before and were hugely impressed by the Smart Gun’s safe, secure, reliable, and lifesaving technology! Many thanks to general counsel Ian McLean, CEO and Founder Kai Kloepfer, CFO Tim de Mierry and the entire Biofire team.
