Big Andrew and Little Dylan recently took a tour of the Chicago River with Urban Kayaks thanks to the Match Enrichment Fund! Andrew knew there was no better way to experience Chicago’s unique #architecture than from the Chicago River, so he and Dylan kayaked together for hours checking out all the different buildings and seeing the city from a new angle. They finished their day on the water watching a fireworks show from Navy Pier which was a first for Dylan! The Match Enrichment Fund is designed to support enrichment activities for Littles and their Bigs, focused on increasing and enhancing learning experiences, exposing them to art and cultural activities, educational achievement, health and nutrition programming, and college and career preparation.
