Congratulations and well done to Beaumont employees Zak Trim, Savannah Custard, and Dan Madler for successfully graduating from the PTE Program at the American Injection Molding (AIM) Institute! We believe it's important to advance employees' skills and invest in employee education. “The PTE program provides my team members with the additional knowledge to remain on the cutting edge of the industry. By reducing the knowledge gap, our graduates are able to proficiently navigate through complex issues in order to provide multiple solutions to our customers. The Plastics Technology & Engineering (PTE) Certificate Program is an ANAB-accredited program that provides comprehensive education and training in the primary disciplines of the injection molding industry: Plastic Materials, Mold Design & Engineering, Injection Molding, and Part Design. Yesterday at Beaumont Advanced Processing (BAP) we had the unique opportunity of doing some forging with Forged in Fire champion Josh Weston, of Weston Creatives! In preparation for some upcoming projects between BAP and Josh, he and his team from The Bavarian Blacksmith Experience and The Dragon Forge Experience helped our team members forge their own knives! It was a fun and challenging time that gave our team a better look into metal shaping and the blacksmithing process. We look forward to working with Josh and are thankful for the opportunity!

As a career engineer, Matt created his design and had been producing models via 3D printing when he knew the next step was to find an injection molder, and made it a priority to keep all work and production in the US. As an Erie, Pennsylvania local, Matt didn’t have to go far to find Beaumont. The primary factor in his choice to stick with Beaumont is our integrated in-house capabilities: the Beaumont Development team, which provides simulation and consulting, works seamlessly with our tooling and manufacturing teams of Beaumont Advanced Processing to bring ideas like Matt’s from design to market.
