Here at Beaumont, we offer two types of mental health day programs for adults. Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) are structured day treatment programs that individuals attend while living at home or in a supportive environment instead of residing in a treatment facility. Our PHP runs every week Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and our IOP runs every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. To see if one of these programs fits your mental health needs, call 313-633-2600 to schedule an assessment today. We offer no-cost assessments 24/7. #OutpatientPrograms

  • This week, we celebrate #NationalTherapeuticRecreationWeek! Meet our Lead Recreational Therapist, Sheryl. Sheryl's interest in mental health care dates as far back as high school, where she was first introduced to psychology. She furthered her educational studies at Michigan State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, then went on to Wayne State University and received a degree in Occupational Therapy. Sheryl states, "I have long enjoyed my role as a mental health advocate through helping patients regain their ability to take part in everyday activities and break down the barriers that affect a person's emotional health." Thank you, Sheryl, for continuing to empower our patients to achieve greater well-being and quality of life through meaningful activities and personalized care. Your dedication and the positive impact you have on the lives of our patients don't go unnoticed! #Empowerment

  • July is National #MinorityMentalHeathAwarenessMonth, a time dedicated to raising awareness about the unique mental health challenges faced by minority communities. It's crucial to recognize that cultural backgrounds, experiences of discrimination, and access to resources all play a significant role in shaping mental health. Together, we can foster understanding, support, and empathy for those navigating the intersection of minority identity and mental health. If you or someone you know is struggling, please call us at 313-633-2600 or visit https://beaumontbh.com/ to learn more about what types of programming we have to offer our community.
