During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, healthcare professionals saw a tremendous uptick in generosity of community members gifting them everything from discounted services to free lunches. Just as the pandemic waned, so too did donations but for Dawn Hastings and her fellow congregation at House of Praise for All People in Greenwood they wanted to ensure that healthcare professionals continued to feel seen and loved. Thus stemmed a food donation that happens the last Tuesday of every month to the team in the Bayhealth Emergency Department, Sussex Campus. Read more here https://lnkd.in/e6YgvZtw today.

Donating for Dad. 💙 Anthony Cibello was a vibrant and active 80 years young in 2013 when doctors in his home state of Pennsylvania told him his heart condition was inoperable. Unsatisfied with their opinion, Cibello’s daughters – one who is a nurse and the other, Michele Campbell, who is a manager in Bayhealth’s Medical Staff Services – found hope for their dad in two Bayhealth clinicians. Thanks in part to the care provided, Cibello lived another 10 years until his passing on April 19, 2024. For this additional time with her dad, Campbell made a financial contribution to the Bayhealth Foundation to support technological advances and healthcare services to help others.
