We're beyond proud of Banyan's UX and Information Architecture Specialist Luke Van Rhoon, PhD. who presented usability insights into the PEACH Parenting (Promoting Education, Awareness, Connection, and Health) mobile site at #APHA2023 today! Findings highlighted the relationship between accessing educational resources and design, cultural diversity, trustworthiness, lived experience, and meeting parents where they are. Banyan was honored to create and evaluate the site with Georgia Division of Family & Children Services and Georgia Department of Public Health to better connect all parents and caregivers with family services and tools to build resilience. #changeforgood

During #APHA2023 poster presentations, Banyan's Director of Project Management Nora Kuiper and Director of Design Iz Holcomb shared insights from developing the online Training on Homelessness for Public Health Providers with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. They turned a spotlight on the ways that instructional design best practices help learners strengthen partnerships, reduce stigma, and ensure public health protections reach people who are experiencing homelessness.
