On #GivingTuesday, Suburban Propane united with the Baltimore Hunger Project and Senator Shelly Hettleman to assemble more than 800 meal packages for students in the greater Baltimore area who face food insecurity. Local employee volunteers assembled weekend meal kits for students in need as part of the Company’s SuburbanCares® community-giving platform, which focuses on caring for local communities. Each meal package contains proteins, vegetables, fruits, and utensils, ensuring students have access to nutritious food during the weekends when school meals are unavailable. On this #GivingTuesday we are looking ahead to the community service our attendees and staff will be contributing to at the #RevUPSummit23 in Annapolis, MD next week. Each year, PAR hosts a "VolunBeering" event at the end of the RevUP Summit to close out the conference and help make a difference in the community. This year, we're making Birthday Packs for the Baltimore Hunger Project. 🎂 🎈 Birthday Packs provide a family in need with a special treat and a chance to make memories. These packs are fun and easy to make, and bring a lot of joy to the people who receive them.

GG started Giving Week off by volunteering at three different local non-profits. Team members had the chance to volunteer at Baltimore Hunger Project, Irvine Nature Center, and Moveable Feast. 🎨 GG completed almost 900 kindness kits which were distributed to kids in The Hunger Project’s partner schools. GG also helped fill food bags which have already gone out to sustain children facing weekend food insecurity. 🌱 Volunteers assisted Irvine Nature Center in an array of outdoor projects. 🥫 GG bagged a total of 565 Bags and assembled 3,390 trays which helped to meet Moveable Feast’s goal of preparing 8,500 meals per week. A huge thank you to these non-profits for hosting our team members and making the community stronger. We are thankful for the opportunity to continue our partnership with incredible organizations.

As Thanksgiving approaches, gratitude abounds for my chosen work family, UBS in Hunt Valley. With every opportunity presented, our group finds ways to help our community. For the upcoming holiday, we were fortunate to be introduced to Lynne B Kahn, the inspirational Founder & Director of the Baltimore Hunger Project, an organization dedicated to eliminating weekend childhood hunger by feeding bodies and minds. For Thanksgiving, Lynne's formidable force of volunteers, delivered assembled grocery bags so that families in our community could make, and enjoy, an abundant meal for the holiday. Our very own Brian Doak, from The Murray Group, helped deliver the meals. Thank you to my colleagues and friends for always having the heart to care; Jason Lowy, Nicholas Barbieri, Palmer Murray, Jonathan Murray, Brian Doak, Russell Weber, Ariana Waitkavicz, Jason Connor, Tracey DuBree, Alan Culiner, Colby Buss, Donald Stone, Michele Burch Lippincott, David Stack, Sean McElroy, Zack McCaskill, Adam Doubet, Shawn Lemko, Val Obiozor, Susan Sadler, Kim Barefoot, Laura Ann Diamond, Benjamin Kellar, Matt Conant, Carly DeLiberty, Lai Li, Chris Connolly, Benjamin B.
