We love having a positive impact and making a difference in our community. Our Seattle team recently wrapped up another volunteer project for a local resident with Rebuilding Together Seattle. Rebuilding Together Seattle serves low-income homeowners who are elderly, living with a disability, families with children or veterans in need – to repair homes, revitalize communities and rebuild lives. Our volunteers broke up into 4 crews; with each working on a different scope around the home. Our team completed the following projects: 🔨 Rebuilding the front porch to be level with the front door threshold 🔨 Rerouting the drains and gutters, adding new trim board along the exterior 🔨 Staining the back porch 🔨 Adding a handrail to the back and front porch 🔨 Yard work We can’t wait to return for another event with Rebuilding Together Seattle. #HowardSWright #Community #RebuildingTogether #RebuildingTogetherSeattle #PNW

HEROS IN ACTION: Last week, Balfour Beatty teammates went above and Beyond Zero Harm by assisting with wildfire rescue efforts in Del Mar, California. While working on a nearby jobsite, project team members discovered a brush fire. General Superintendent Wayne Kibbe, Site Supervisor Chris Naumann and the rest of the team jumped into action, notifying authorities and running a fire hose from a hydrant nearby. Their commitment to our Zero Harm safety culture beyond the worksite protected nearby homes, buildings and residents.
