WHAT "A" DAY! We're proud to share that Backus Hospital received a grade "A" from Leapfrog's Hospital Safety Guide! 🎉 All seven Hartford HealthCare hospitals received “A” grades for safety! Leapfrog is a national nonprofit watchdog that sets standards for excellence in patient care. They assign an “A,” “B,” “C,” “D” or “F” grade to general hospitals across the country based on over 30 national performance measures reflecting errors, accidents, injuries, and infections, as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent harm. Congratulations to each and every colleague for such an amazing accomplishment! You deserve this recognition!
