Avosys is seeking a Physician Assitant to provide outpatient services to the military and their families at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona. Maximize family time with no weekend, Holiday, or on-call requirements Maintain work-life balance with guaranteed 8-hour shifts Take advantage of our competitive, comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, short-term disability, long-term disability & 401(k) Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient care for TRICARE Prime enrolled beneficiaries, as well as TRICARE for Life and space available beneficiaries ranging from newborn to geriatric age presenting with complex and interdependent acute and chronic conditions. The physician assistant will serve as the Primary Care Manager (PCM) within the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model of health care delivery, will facilitate and manage full spectrum of professional and patient care activities within their scope of practice, and collaborate with their supervising physician in the provision of patient care. Qualifications Must be a graduate Physician Assistant qualified by academic and practical education to provide patient services as a physician extender under supervision of a physician, or be a graduate of a Physician Assistant Training Program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA), or its predecessors, and acceptable to the Surgeon General, USAF.
