What goes great with clean, renewable energy? ☀️🐑 Sheep, of course! This year, Avangrid began the largest solar grazing operation in the Pacific Northwest, using sheep at two #solar farms to eat grass and weeds, eliminating the need for gas-powered mowing equipment and reducing fire danger during the warm, dry summer. At the peak this spring, there were more than 5,000 sheep spread across Pachwáywit Fields and Lund Hill, the largest solar farms in Oregon and Washington.
