They also had the Baltimore Ravens mascot, Poe, the Ravens Cheerleaders, Baltimore County Councilman Izzy Patoka, Shelly Laskim Hettelman, and Matthew Mark Horn of the Maryland General Assembly in attendance! Everyone is so kind! ❓What made me want to enter the Skilled Nursing field? 🙋♀️: I have 15 years of Skilled Nursing experience and 10 years of Hospital Leadership roles. I love working in a Nursing Facility because the residents and team become like family. Those positive relationships make coming to work a joy! ❓One fun fact about myself? 🙋♀️: I love karaoke! So we adopted a kangaroo... For the day, at least. Mary Wheat of Autumn Lake Healthcare at Crofton had a baby kangaroo visit their facility and the joy it brought to the staff and residents was unforgettable. Just look at how big those smiles are. Pro tip: Schedule a baby kangaroo visit to your facility or workplace. Oh, and make sure your phone has enough storage for lots and lots of pictures. Don't just talk about fond memories.
