Introducing ATDKC's Excellence in Learning Awards (ELAs)! We've decided to give our scholarship program a refresh during 2024's application cycle! We have up to 26 different awards, in 5 categories for 2024. Excellence in Learning Awards are valued from $25 to $3,000! The 5 categories are: National Power Member Excellence in Learning Award Student Power Member Excellence in Learning Award ATD Kansas City Local Chapter Member Excellence in Learning Award Fall Conference 2024 Excellence in Learning Award CPTD Certification Excellence in Learning Award All applications must be received by August 30, 2024. The application process is simple! In order to receive scholarships, applicants must meet certain eligibility criteria. Winners will be notified by September 2, 2024.

Thank you Sally Koppy, MSEd, CPTD and ATD Kansas City for bringing us an important topic and interactive session on creativity and critical thinking skills! Best part was putting it into practice with new connections who were so much fun learning with. Casey Finnell, EdD and Stephanie Schwieterman The step back to learn, think about something in a new way with others was energizing! My takeaways: 1. You can’t generate and evaluate at the same time! This reminded me so much of Habit #6, Synergy and coming up with 3rd Alternatives. There is strength in diverse ideas and perspectives (and life experiences). 2. Why/Purpose (clarity) fuels innovation and vice versa. 3. Set a time limit to ideate with others on a topic with…What if? Yes, and? Glad I took time away from my screen to refresh and get inspired.
