The entrance to @ResortsWorldLV's Here Kitty Kitty speakeasy was modeled after street food stalls found in Malaysia and Singapore, full of snacks, games, and drinks. The striking blue shelves of munchies and lucky cat statues are set off by Astek wallpaper: a custom pattern (above the shelves) and a vintage botanical paper (on the front of the checkout stand). This #ThrowbackThursdsay, we’re looking back at the Vita Apartment Homes with the public spaces designed by Thiel & Team enlivened by larger-than-life, colorful wallcoverings. These original designs add some verve to spaces that otherwise could feel utilitarian: office space, work-from-home nooks, and the mailroom.

What happens when you mix glitter, dance floors, and martinis? You get Zhuzh bar, the Bay Area's newest "micro club" in Nob Hill! Zhuzh bar was designed in collaboration with Marissa Marsh and features a custom version of our Merian mural. Jim Rizzo, AKA “the neon king of the Bay Area,” added outlines of flowers in electric pink and blue lights for a special 3D effect. Credits to Ashley Ann Photos and Marissa Jade Designs.
