Tis the reason for the season 🏳️🌈 We could not be more proud to see our branding for Lavender Hill, Denver’s Queer Cultural District, debuting during the city’s 50th Pride Anniversary. The district, co-founded by one of our very own designers Zachary Kotel, does the important work of celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community by amplifying Queer voices, experiences, and contributions throughout the Mile High City. The brand’s bright visuals and bold #QueerisHere campaign make Lavender Hill unmistakable and unmissable. Check out the full case study so you don’t make a mistake and miss out, either.

Love to see it 🫶 Fleet Week Cadets posing with our sculptural heart, created in 2016 for the Inner Harbor Project, a great initiative started by students to bring love and respect to downtown Baltimore.
Soaring above the city and docking into the harbor, Maryland Fleet Week and Flyover Baltimore is BACK! Taking place from June 12th to June 18th, the Inner Harbor will be teeming with historic sailboats, naval ships, and U.S. Coast Guard vessels. Open to all, guide yourself and marvel at the intricacies of nautical navigation and design. Presented by Northrop Grumman, hear the roar of jet engines flyover the city as event-goers parade throughout the festival. Enjoy live performances, music, food, and hands-on activities throughout the Inner Harbor, Fells Point, and the Martin State Airport. Welcome to Baltimore! This week, hundreds of public space leaders from around the world have descended on the city for the 4th International Placemaking Week, co-hosted by the Neighborhood Design Center. We’re excited for all participants to experience the grassroots revitalization efforts, large-scale redevelopments, and public placemaking initiatives that help put the “charm” in Charm City. Take our 2017 Baltimore gateway signs, modeled after the city’s original trailblazing system developed in the 1970s. They have become an iconic symbol demarcating the city limits, and they serve as a beloved “welcome home” sign for all locals.

The American Alliance of Museums annual conference begins in Baltimore today with the theme “thriving museums, healthy communities.” That has us thinking about this excellent piece BmoreArt wrote on our newly opened Collective/Action exhibit at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. https://lnkd.in/eAimxSxB

Super excited to kick this project off. What’s better than turning an abandoned bus terminal into a state-of-the-art squash center for student athletes?
Baltimore is committed to nurturing, educating, and uplifting every child and teen within the city. Enhancing infrastructure and programs for youth development, our goal is to create spaces for young minds to thrive. Baltimore SquashWise is leading the city’s newest project to bridge the gap between academic enrichment, healthy recreation, and college/career preparation for students in Baltimore City. Located at 601 N Howard St, the abandoned Greyhound bus terminal previously served as one of the largest travel hubs on the east coast. This historic landmark is being transformed into an environment aiming to quadruple the size of youth programs. The 6-court, 3-classroom structure will expand the squash community while supporting academic growth and career readiness.
