🎉 We are thrilled to announce the first-ever recipients, from the Asbury Communities, Inc. Support & Collaboration Center, of an Asbury Foundation scholarship: Sue Paul, Lana Saeed, and Cheryl Zezulka! 🎉 Over the last year, more than $200,000 was raised for scholarships across the Asbury system. And now it's no longer just at our communities...it's expanded to our home office. Today, we proudly celebrate three remarkable associates who have been awarded scholarships this year: 🌟 Sue Paul: With Asbury since 2020, Sue is pursuing her Doctor of Occupational Therapy. Sue's dedication to senior care and #brainhealth has placed Asbury on the map as a leader in this field. Sue shares, "I've been working with seniors for over 30 years. This degree will provide me with research and publication opportunities in academia, raising Asbury's profile as a leader in well-being and brain health initiatives for seniors." 🌟 Lana Saeed: A recruiter on the Asbury talent acquisition team since 2022, Lana is working towards her Certified Healthcare Recruiter credential. Lana expresses, "Working at Asbury has been one of the best professional experiences. This scholarship will advance my professional development, deepening my comprehension of market dynamics and equipping me with a robust toolkit to handle more complex roles and responsibilities." 🌟 Cheryl Zezulka: Having joined Asbury in 2021, Cheryl is working to obtain her Corporate Meeting Planning certification. Inspired to work for Asbury by her great aunt, a former resident of #AsburyMethodistVillage, Cheryl shares, "I know what I do in the office helps others complete their work for the communities and residents. Becoming certified will be a great personal and business accomplishment." Congratulations to Sue, Lana, and Cheryl on their well-deserved scholarships!
