Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting our Connecting Educators to Industry workshop in collaboration with Economics Arkansas. Educators from across our region gathered to learn about the skills and needs of our local industries. They also toured Siplast and Veolia North America, gaining invaluable knowledge that they will be able to take back to their classrooms, benefiting our children, their future, and our workforce. A special thank you to Patterson Federal Credit Union for generously sponsoring our lunch! #collaboration #education #industry #workforcedevelopment

Are you interested in local history and archeology? You've got to check out the Caddo Center at Henderson State University! Recently, they unveiled the newly renovated and preserved building that formerly served as the campus cafeteria. It now exhibits the Joint Educational Consortium's Hodges Collection of Native American Artifacts, gathered in the 1930s and 40s. The Caddo Center also houses the HSU Admissions, Financial Aid, and Housing Offices. The Caddo Center, 1067 President’s Drive, is open weekdays to university students, faculty and staff, and community visitors. #archeology #ArkansasHistory #artifacts #preservation
