@NWS has issued an Excessive Heat Warning for six counties. -Gila, La Paz, Maricopa, Pinal, and Yuma Counties will be affected from Aug. 3 to Aug. 5. -Mohave County will be affected from Aug. 4 to Aug. 6. Dangerously high temperatures up to 117 degrees Fahrenheit are expected with the potential to cause life-threatening illnesses or even death.
