ARCO recently completed this 131,500 SF cold storage facility for repeat clients Scannell Properties and Vistar – a business segment of Performance Food Group. Located in Phoenix, Arizona, the facility expands Vistar’s capacity and operations in the Southwest, allowing for expedited distribution throughout the region. Features include 77,000 SF of dry warehouse space, a 20,000 SF -10°F freezer, a 10,610 SF 34°F cooler, a 10,000 SF cold dock, a 14,130 SF dry dock, and a 2,027 SF office. ARCO recently completed a new 350,439 SF beverage distributorship in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for Frank B. Fuhrer Wholesale Co. Having nearly doubled the leading beer distributor’s presence in the local market, the project was awarded the 2024 CoStar Group Impact Award for Pittsburgh Commercial Development of the Year for its contribution to the region. With a 211,647 SF controlled-environment warehouse, a 29,783 SF draught cooler, and a 21,833 SF ambient warehouse, the facility will handle a high volume of beer and other beverages for the company’s Fuhrer Eagle Sales & Service division. Additional facility features include 28,666 SF of office space, a 14,356 POS area, and an 8,680 SF truck maintenance building. Tilt panels are going up as the ARCO team makes progress on a new 297,440 SF manufacturing facility for Elopak, a leading global supplier of carton packaging and filling equipment. Located in Little Rock, Arkansas, the facility will be Elopak’s first U.S. production plant and will feature the latest state-of-the-art technology for better and more efficient production. The facility will be utilized to produce the company’s Pure-Pak® cartons, a complete and flexible packaging system for liquid dairy, juices, plant-based products, and liquid eggs. Project features will include a 205,267 SF production area, an 11,219 SF mezzanine, a 24,534 SF office, six dock positions, and tilt-up construction. More than 100 jobs are expected to be created in the local market. ARCO recently partnered with Activate to bring the future of gaming to Kansas City! The 11,684 SF live-action gaming facility is Activate’s first venue in the region and features a game hub, 11 individual micro arenas with specialty LED lighting and electronic flooring, a party room for the ultimate group gathering, and so much more. The project consisted of a full buildout of an existing strip mall space to create a state-of-the-art facility that welcomes players of all ages and skill levels. Visitors can expect to experience the TikTok viral sensation Mega Grid with 500+ multi-activated rainbow-colored tiles, blasting the beaming bullseye in a game called Strike, and feeling like a modern-day spy in the Laser room. Located in Springdale, Arkansas, the state-of-the-art facility offers customers cutting-edge refrigeration and freezing technology and end-to-end cold flexible storage solutions. Facility features include more than 170,000 square feet of temperature-controlled space, including 252 Tippman QFM quick freeze blast modules and multiple convertible freezers capable of accommodating a range of temperature requirements from -5°F to 28°F. The freezer space has a clear height of 34’6” and includes max density racking, allowing for more than 22,000 pallet positions.
