Jesus uses all our gifts for his kingdom! 👑 Learn how our Lord opened the door to Deacon David Peverley's work with Kairos Prison Ministry through his love of music. "My call was to do what I was doing there for the prisoners in a broader sense—through the office of the Church." #IAmADeacon

Happy feast of St. Junípero Serra! The woman in today's Gospel had been through the wringer. Imagine the weight of her suffering, the depths of her darkness. Even with every reason to despair, she chose to hope anew. She chose to place her hope in Jesus. Humbly, she only sought to touch the Lord, to touch the hem of his garment. But God saw deeper, and he met her in her suffering, in her darkness. Whatever sufferings, whatever pain, whatever darkness you might be living today, the Gospel brings Good News: Jesus is with you. He wants you to come to him. He wants to meet you in your suffering. He wants to renew your hope today. “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28) Receive God's loving provision over you today. #ScriptureSunday
