Antinozzi Associates and Newfield Construction had a great time at the Connecticut Building Congress 28th Annual Project Team Award Ceremony, where we were honored with first place in the Large Pre-K 12 Schools category for Cranbury Elementary in Norwalk. At the end of the evening we were surprised with the Project Team of the Year Award, which celebrated the exceptional collaboration between all those involved in the Cranbury Elementary project. This is a testament to the hard work of the entire team. Thank you to Norwalk Public Schools and Cranbury Elementary for being the ultimate teammates and partnering with us to create this great new space for your community. Washington Elementary School has proudly served the neighborhood since 1909 and will soon be reborn as a brand-new facility to continue this tradition for many years to come. The new 61,770 sf school will provide a state-of-the art learning environment, designed for 438 students in grades PK-4, in the same location as the former school. We celebrated the beginning of the new building with a topping off ceremony. On Friday, March 15, Antinozzi Associates joined in the celebration of opening night of THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH tour on its return to the Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, CT at the Barnum Museum Gala event. As the Architectural Project Manager on the current exterior restoration of the Barnum Museum, Antinozzi Associates was a proud sponsor of the Barnum Museum and its on-going fundraising efforts. The Gardner Lecture Hall at West Haven High School was dedicated to Pamela Bellmore Gardner, a former West Haven High School Principal last night. Ms. Gardner advocated for the addition of the lecture hall during the design of the major renovations at West Haven High. It was reintroduced at the end of the project and since its completion, has been regularly used by every school department, just as Pamela had imagined.
