More big news for our #UptownCharlotte neighbors. Minor League Baseball team the Charlotte Knights, whose home base is #TruistField, was sold to NYC-based Diamond Baseball Holdings for over $100M! The new owner wants to “aggressively invest in future ballpark improvements”. This sale comes on the heels of the recent $1.3 billion in funding secured for upgrades at the Bank of America Stadium by City of Charlotte and Tepper Sports & Entertainment, highlighting not only the huge influx of investment but the long-term commitment by major sports franchises to this pocket of Uptown Charlotte. ANiMAL's Mint St Parking Deck is literally sandwiched between Truist Field and #BofAStadium! We’re in very good company and we're very excited about the trajectory of Uptown Charlotte.🏆

We are thrilled to congratulate the City of Charlotte, Tepper Sports & Entertainment, Carolina Panthers, and Charlotte FC on this monumental outcome: $1.3 billion for the renovation of the Bank of America Stadium and a commitment to Uptown Charlotte until 2045. The renders look incredible and it’s great to see this recognized all over the news! The caliber of this project, as well as what the amazing developers are doing opposite will make this the new focal point of the City. We are excited to be your neighbor with a 2,175 bay parking deck on ~5 acres just steps away, and to provide parking to anyone visiting what will be a truly iconic stadium. Go Panthers! Keep Pounding! #TheNewYorkTimes #Bloomberg #CharlotteBusinessChronicle #ESPN #BofAStadium The New York Times article: https://lnkd.in/gmBaw6BE
