It's a busy day here at Angel Flight East! We have 12 flights scheduled for 7 different patients today. While the passengers' ages vary from 5 to 68, they all have in common that there will never be a limit to the number of flights they can receive.

A volunteer pilot organization providing free flights to patients in need of medical treatment far from home.
About us
Angel Flight East is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the community by facilitating free air transportation for children and adults with medical conditions who need to get to treatment far from home. AFE serves the Eastern region of the United States, and for destinations beyond our reach, we link with other volunteer pilot organizations. Anyone who requests a flight must be medically stable, able to board an aircraft, and fly in a small single or twin engine aircraft. Our volunteer pilots use their private planes to fly our patients to their destinations. These men and women pay for all expenses for each mission they fly. For more information about Angel Flight East, please visit our website at www.angelflighteast.org or call our office at 215-358-1900!

Meet our friend, Kendall! Kendall was diagnosed with Leigh Syndrome at the age of 2. This mitochondrial disease affects 1 in 100,000 children. Thanks to Angel Flight East pilots, Kendall's 10-hour drive was reduced to a few hours in a small airplane. Read the rest of her story here: https://lnkd.in/e4uttCp8

A little update on our friend, Declan- when we asked his mom for an update, she sent this picture and the following text: "He hasn't been healthier ever in his life, honestly, and he's finally growing, talking, and just happier." We are so happy to see this little guy thrive, and we will be there with him every step of his journey!
