This year marks AMIGOS' 60th anniversary, and in honor of this milestone, we are hosting a 60th Anniversary: In Conversation Panel Series, featuring virtual and in-person panel events to bring together the national AMIGOS community to connect, share, and be inspired by the future of AMIGOS! 🎙️ The first in-person panel took place in May in San Francisco, California, and centered on recent AMIGOS alumni who are working to preserve the planet and environment for generations to come. Our incredible and inspiring alumni are at the forefront of environmental conservation, making a significant impact and paving the way for a sustainable future. Thank you to our moderator, Chelsea M. (’05, ’08, ’11), Senior Campaigner for Agriculture and Climate Finance at Friends of the Earth U.S., and our panelists, Shayan Kaveh (’15, ’17, ’21), Science Communicator at Sustainable Conservation, and Finn Does (’22), Co-Chair of the Bay Area Youth Climate Summit.
